Kidfest is a well-known annual community event that is filled with children’s activities, entertainment, food, early education information and, most of all, fun for the whole family. More than 100 area organizations and businesses set up various types of free activities for children of all ages, while numerous entertainers showcase their talents throughout the day. It’s a fun-filled event for children of all ages and children at heart!

Children's Activities

EEC invites all interested businesses and organizations to plan an activity for children during the festival at no cost. Some past activities have included face painting, hopscotch, balloon animals, sand art and a ring toss. Table and chairs are provided by EEC.

The activity should not include the selling of items or asking for donations. However, you are allowed to pass out business cards, flyers, brochures or any other information to promote your business or organization.

Entertainment

Not only does Kidfest offer a variety of fun activities for children to enjoy, it also invites local entertainers and civic groups to perform for the festival attendees. Dancers, puppeteers, singers and many others have showcased their talents during the festival.

Kidfest Vocal Star

Also, don't miss the second annual Kidfest Vocal Star competition during the festival. Kidfest Vocal Star will showcase the singing abilities of local talent for a chance to win a grand prize pack created especially for an up and coming singer. The competition will only be open to students ages 12 to 17. Preliminary auditions will be held during Kidfest on Saturday, April 19 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The judges will choose 10 finalists to compete during the Kidfest Vocal Star competition from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., concluding the festival.

Food Vendors

Individuals or businesses interested in selling food and beverages during the event are invited to participate. More than 8,000 people attend the event annually. A tent, table and chairs will not be provided by EEC. Participants may choose from various booth sizes to accommodate their needs. Current booth prices are listed on the application located below.

Retail Vendors

Volunteers

EEC is seeking those interested in volunteering their time to help with the preparation, activities and conclusion of Kidfest. There are numerous opportunities available the Friday before and Saturday of the event.
